Mr. Frank E. Gomez

Mr. Frank E. Gomez is incredibly honored to have been selected as the next principal of Lost Lake Elementary. Mr. Gomez began his teaching career in 2008 as a PE Coach at Mascotte Elementary School. Mr. Gomez then served at Groveland Elementary as a 2nd Grade teacher from 2009 – 2012, earning their nomination for Rookie Teacher of the Year for 2012. From 2012 – 2018 he taught 2nd grade and 5th grade at Mascotte Elementary School, earning their nomination for Teacher of the Year for 2015. Mr. Gomez was named an Assistant Principal at East Ridge Middle School in 2018, where he assisted in improving their existing “A” four points higher into the “A”. After the interrupted school years, Mr. Gomez helped East Ridge Middle School to rebound back to earning an “A” for their work in the 2021-2022 school year. For the 2022-2023 school year Mr. Gomez served as an Assistant Principal at Oak Park Middle School and was nominated as Lake County School’s nominee for Assistant Principal of the Year. Mr. Gomez is so excited for the opportunity to represent the Pride of Clermont at Lost Lake Elementary as their Principal. Go Lions!
